Snowrider
Save the Date as the Massachusetts Surfrider Chapter will be hosting a Snowrider event at Sugarbush Vermont the weekend of February 23 & 24, 2008.
This is a killer chance for all SR East Coast Chapters to get together and build some camaraderie as they each bring the message of the water cycle and “Sea to Summit” to skiers and riders on the slopes. All participating Chapters are encouraged to bring their Campaigns and stoke to the slopes. Each year we talk with dozens and dozens of skiers and riders hailing from all corners of the Northeast who want to find out how to get involved with their local Chapter. We would be stoked if any participating volunteers would host a table and sync up with the public. It’s also a great chance to do something fun and constructive with other members outside of your own chapter – think about a road trip and rip’n it up in Mad River Valley, VT!
There will be discounted lift tickets, reduced rates on lodging, an après’ party at The Castle Rock Pub hosting a membership drive, fundraiser, raffle with plenty of loot and give-a-ways for all those who attend.
Marc Angelillo and Carol Tobian of the Massachusetts Surfrider Chapter are coordinating this event and teaming up with the Sugarbush Resort, N’EAST Magazine and a number of green industry manufacturers like Ocean Minded, Billabong, Smith Optics & Peak Organic for the event.
Please let them know if you are interested by contacting one of them at either m.angelillo@att.net or caroltobian@yahoo.com.
Don’t forget to check out the Sugarbush website at www.Sugarbush.com for the latest skiing and riding conditions. The skiing and riding has not been this good in years!

Where can I buy this issue of N’East Magazine on Long Island. I Tried Boarder’s in Sayville to no avail.
Thanks
